Alfredo Ramirez will be giving a talk within the "Free Space Design in the Contemporary City" Colloquium at KW Institute for Contemporary Art, Berlin 30th March 2012. The lecture will deal with the way in which Groundlab and Landscape Urbanism engage with the concept of the ground, both as a spatial strategy but also as a generator of a wider perspective to think about cities, territories and ecologies.
LANDSCAPE URBANISM IN RARA MAGAZINE
December issue of the RaRa Magazine (issue 5) includes an article on Landscape Urbanism as design discipline, outlining both one of its main academic roots in the Architectural Association AALU as well as describing the work of some of its practitioners (GroundLab, Plasmastudio, [Ay] studio). Special thanks to Diana Araya for writing the article.
