PLASMASTUDIO AND GROUNDLAB "FLOWING GARDENS" PROJECT OPENS IN XIAN'S INTERNATIONAL HORTICULTURAL EXPO 2011














"Plasmastudio/Groundlab "Flowing Gardens" project has officially opened In Xian, China as part of the International Horticultural Expo 2011. The project is a collaboration between AA Landscape Urbanism tutors Eva Castro, Alfredo Ramirez,Eduardo Rico (Partners of Groundlab) and Plasmastudio (Holger Kehne, Eva Castro), and LAUR comprising 37 ha of landscape and 3 buildings (Guangyun Entrance, Creativity pavilion and a Greenhouse) . This kind of lanscape seems to focus entirely on the visual! It looks to inhibit the user, counter social interaction and waste huge sums of money on creating a space for the elite gaze upon (from above)
